25 March 2020
The Therapy Collective is closely monitoring the evolving situation regarding Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and would like to communicate the steps we are taking to prioritise the health and wellbeing of our clients, customers and suppliers whilst continuing to operate.
Our services and sales of assistive technology products are currently not restricted by the Australian Government – we can continue to operate but with increased precautions in place.
We have always prioritised infection control and have an established process in place to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all equipment
Trials and appointments are being assessed on a case by case basis and will be subject to a pre-screening risk assessment interview prior to attending. Risk assessment questions will follow the current government health advice and recommendations including,
Have you, or anyone who will be present with you:
Been feeling unwell with symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough and shortness of breath in the last 14 days?
Returned from travel domestically or internationally in the last 14 days?
Had close contact with someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19?
Where appropriate, we will arrange an alternative option including telehealth phone/video calls or reschedule face to face appointments for future dates. We reserve the right to decline appointments, trials and deliveries if we are not satisfied with the potential risk to our staff or the business.
We will continue to monitor the situation and continue to take advice from the relevant health authorities and will communicate a further business update if required.
