While the virtual experience is all that's needed for the majority of customers and serves as the starting point for all trials, some situations may call for a physical trial.

We welcome your interest in our virtual Vela Trial Experience! If you're curious about Vela, express your interest by completing our Trial Request Form. We will promptly connect with your clinician to kickstart the process and make it an easy journey for you.

Clinicians, such as Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists can request a virtual Vela Trial Experience by completing our Trial Application Form.

Kindly submit a new form for each client to ensure they receive access to dedicated customer resources.

step 2 - access resources

Unlock exclusive access to our online Vela Trial Experience resources, featuring dedicated hubs for both Customers and Clinicians. Clinicians will access a thorough guide featuring a clinical education video and valuable trial tools and prescription tip sheets. This tailored hub empowers clinicians with the tools and insights needed to navigate Vela prescriptions for their clients with confidence.

Customers will access a dedicated Customer Hub featuring a Vela demonstration video and comprehensive information about the Vela range. This customer-friendly hub is designed to empower customers and facilitate their active participation in the Vela experience.

step 3 - Experience Vela

The clinician and client engage in discussions about the Vela chair and use the dedicated resources within the hubs to understand key aspects of the Vela chair. This may include viewing the chair demonstration video, discussing customisation options and identifying what configuration will address specific needs. The resources in the hubs serve as visual aids and education tools to facilitate a thorough evaluation.

step 4 - schedule a post-trial consultation

Clinicians can book a follow-up call with us to discuss the outcome of their virtual Vela Experience. During this call we discuss the prescription, answer questions and discuss the need for further physical trial opportunities.

The Therapy Collective issues a quote based on the prescription provided by the clinician and the clinician manages the necessary application for funding. Our goal is to empower clinicians to navigate the funding application process, by providing them with the valuable support and resources throughout the trial experience. Combining their clinical insights from the virtual trial, along with our resources, the clinician can have confidence in their prescription.

how do i book a virtual Vela Trial Experience?

To start the trial process, clinicians can begin by completing the Trial Application Form. For customers, expressing interest is as easy as completing the Trial Request Form. We will then connect with your clinician to kickstart the trial experience.

what support is provided post-trial?

Following the trial period, clinicians can schedule a Follow-Up Call for personalised assistance. This includes prescription advice and support to help finalise their recommendation.

Why isn't it possible to start with a physical trial first?

We have refined our trial process based on years of experience in supplying the Vela chairs. While a physical trial is available, we've found that the majority of clinicians and customers can confidently make decisions without it. In-person trials often result in delays and come with additional costs related to chair transportation. To provide a more streamlined and cost-effective trial experience, we've developed a robust virtual trial process, complete with comprehensive resources and support. It is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the Vela chair, enabling clinicians and customers to confidently evaluate and choose options without the need for an immediate physical trial.

What is the fee for an in home physical trial?

We provide personalised quotes for in home trials to accommodate logistical considerations. The Vela chair, being a heavy and bulky item, incurs higher expenses associated with transportation. Contact us to discuss.

Can I request a home visit trial outside the designated delivery zone?

While physical trials are limited to a selected delivery zone due to logistical and cost considerations, we're happy to explore alternative solutions or discuss options that may suit your specific needs.

why is there a Trial agreement for home visit trials?

The Trial Agreement is a formal agreement between The Therapy Collective, clinicians and customers participating in a trial experience. It outlines the terms and conditions for the trial period the responsibilities of all parties. We utilise Docusign to streamline the documentation process for the Trial Agreement and other related paperwork. This electronic signature platform allows for a secure, efficient, and legally binding way to sign and complete the required paperwork. You'll receive an invitation to review and sign the documents electronically, saving time and ensuring a smooth administrative process.
